Privacy Policy

Last updated June 16, 2026

This Policy explains what personal information Kavron.ai collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to candidates, recruiters, and visitors of the Service.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you give us and information generated as you use the Service:

  • Account data — name, email, phone, and login credentials.
  • Profile & résumé data — the CV you upload, parsed skills and work history, education, links (GitHub, LinkedIn, portfolio), location, and work-authorization details.
  • Interview data — your answers, audio/video, transcripts, generated scores, and proctoring signals (e.g. tab switches) from AI interviews.
  • Usage & device data — log data, IP address, and basic device/browser information used to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the Service: to build and match your profile to roles, to run and score AI interviews, to share applications and results with the relevant hiring teams, to process work and referral payouts, to communicate with you, and to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

3. Automated processing and AI

We use automated systems and AI models to parse résumés and to conduct and score interviews. These produce decision-support signals; they do not, by themselves, make hiring decisions. You can ask us about the logic involved and request human review where required by law.

4. When we share information

  • Hiring teams — when you apply to a role, the relevant recruiter receives your application, profile, and interview results for that role.
  • Service providers — vetted processors that help us run the Service (e.g. cloud hosting and the AI/LLM providers that parse résumés and grade interviews), under contracts that limit their use of your data.
  • Legal & safety — where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Résumé files & sensitive data

Uploaded résumés are stored privately and served only through authenticated requests — they are not made publicly browsable. Please avoid including sensitive information you don’t want shared with hiring teams (for example, government ID numbers) in your résumé or profile.

6. Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data, subject to limited legal exceptions.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can edit much of your data directly in your profile, or contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures — including access controls, authenticated file access, and encryption in transit — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies (for example, to keep you signed in). We default to the most privacy-preserving settings and do not use non-essential tracking cookies without consent.

10. International transfers & children

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own; where required we use appropriate safeguards. The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes & contact

We may update this Policy and will revise the “Last updated” date above. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@kavron.ai.
